Since 2007, I have aggressively honed management and administration skills in various hospitality and professional sectors. As a Marketing Manager and Sales Director, I gained valuable experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments and developed a proven track record of sales success. As an active Community Partner working directly with, Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports & Tourism and Columbia Regional Sports Council I developed exceptional leadership skills; creating and implementing strategic plans for community development and economic empowerment programs. I was co-founder of the Northeast Director of Sales Association. Our mission was to promote the Northeast area of Columbia, South Carolina as a destination and to create a positive perception of the area to residents and visitors while recruiting new and repeat business for all establishments. I helped form Columbia’s first nationally recognized chapter of Women in Lodging and held a leadership position in that association. As a Member Relations Manager, I have met and worked with multiple building industry professionals, creating lasting relationships at the Local, State and National Level. In addition to completing daily office administration tasks; organizing and managing monthly and annual events, I have welcomed and helped retain over 250+ HBA Members, ranking in the top five nationally within our size category for member recruitment and retention two years in a row. Members and business partners have relied on my ability to effectively manage projects juggling numerous, complex tasks while advocating for the highest in customer service.
